Travel Information
Is there anything I should do before traveling to Italy?
Do not forget your passport! For Americans - Your passport must be valid at least 3 months beyond your planned date of departure from Italy. If you have a layover in another country, we suggest you check their passport requirements.
Tips for booking flights?
We often use google flights for an overview of all airlines. Our favorites are United, KLM and American. Most of these airlines have non stop flights, entertainment on board, two meal services and drinks, & provide headphones, blanket and a pillow to keep you entertained & comfortable for the long haul.

Download WhatsApp
We highly recommend downloading WhatsApp to your mobile device before coming to Europe. All businesses in Italy use this for daily/quick communication. We have found this is the most efficient way to speak to your hotel, car service, and other businesses you may have booked experiences with. The app is completely free!
Should I rent a car?
We do not recommend renting a car for multiple reasons - restrictions on allowed driving days for non residents during these busy season, little parking available, & the nature of the local Italians driving style that most of us are not used to (:
Will transportation be provided?
Transportation will be provided for the official wedding events that are outside of the city Sorrento. More info with timetables will be provided later. You are responsible for the transportation to and from the airport.
Tips for packing
Look into the following items to ensure seamless travel: Universal travel adapter & converters, neck pillows, compression socks, & comfortable shoes for walking & stairs.
Do I need cash/euros?
We suggest having 200 euros of cash. While almost all places in town take CC - there are some random spots that do not that cash can be convenient for. For example, when you’re driving into Sorrento the little lemonade stand that is a must to stop at and take in the view before circling down.
